From Vision to Action
Genesis is an event specially designed for students who aspire to become entrepreneurs but don’t know exactly where to start. Structured over three consecutive days, Genesis offers participants a clear vision of the necessary steps to turn an idea into a successful business.
Genesis is a comprehensive experience where students have the opportunity to learn directly from founders, experts, and investors with real experience in building businesses. Through practical workshops, conferences, and open discussions, participants understand how to structure a business model and avoid common mistakes in the early stages. All this is supported by speakers who know what it means to start from scratch and are ready to guide those brave enough to start their dream.
Day 1 – Entrepreneurship – The Courage to Start
For a young entrepreneur, the beginning means structure, commitment, and the ability to turn an idea into action. The entrepreneurship day at Genesis marks the first step on the path of a future founder: how to identify a real need, how to build your team, and how to inevitably learn from what doesn’t work. The speakers of this day believe in courageous beginnings. Not because everything went perfectly for them, but because they had the courage to start, fail, and continue.
Cosmina Bucur, trainer at Cafeneaua Fetelor and host of the podcast Inspiration Over Coffee, will open the day with Make it Happen!, a talk about overcoming blocks, concrete steps, and applied motivation.
Claudiu Băjan, founder of the brand ColorEscu, brings Fail Fast, Grow Faster - an honest perspective on business failures and the essential lessons they provide.
Laurențiu Bănescu, co-founder of Zăganu Craft Beer, closes the day with From Idea to Start-up, a discussion about building an authentic brand without quick fixes but with a clear vision.
Day 2 – Marketing – Without Visibility, an Idea Remains Just an Intention
For any good idea, visibility makes all the difference. Marketing is about how you communicate your brand’s values, how you create a coherent identity, and how you differentiate yourself in a crowded market. The second day of Genesis provides participants with the tools they need to make their idea known and relevant.
Georgiana Drumen, CEO of GrowFluence Agency, and Andra Puchianu, Communication Manager at Digitalee, open the day with the conference How to Build an Impactful Image. Together, they discuss strategic branding, storytelling, and building an authentic presence in the digital environment.
Complementing this perspective, the workshop Critical Thinking Applied to Integrated Marketing Strategies will be led by Ruxandra Zaharia, founder of Shapeshifter Agency. Participants will work on real briefs and build, step-by-step, a mini communication strategy for an imaginary brand. This is a practical exercise in creative thinking, immediately applicable to any personal or professional project.
Day 3 – Finance – You Have the Idea. You Have the Plan. But Do You Have the Budget?
No matter how good a business idea is, without a solid financial foundation, it cannot grow. The last day of Genesis is dedicated to an essential but often neglected topic: finance. Participants will learn how to build a budget, think strategically about money, and especially how to access funding to turn their ideas into viable businesses.
Teodor Ivașcu, founder of Kloth Invest, opens the day with How to Finance Your Start-up, a talk about real funding opportunities and concrete steps to access non-reimbursable funds. With direct experience in building a consultancy dedicated to start-ups, Teodor brings an applied and authentic perspective.
The day ends with a necessary dose of realism through the workshop Make It Count, led by Alexandru Roca, CEO of ROCA Investments. He proposes a practical exercise for participants to build a budget from scratch. With strategic vision and experience in tech start-up investments, Alexandru will provide students with concrete tools to understand and manage the financial side of a business.
Alongside Those Who Believe in the Future
Genesis benefits from the support of important partners who believe in future entrepreneurs, without whom we would not have been able to offer students quality conditions and resources. The venue, The Milles 18, hosts us in a friendly and creative environment. The participants’ experience is complemented by support from Genesis partners: Nestlé, Milka, Pepsico, and CărtureÈ™ti. The speakers come from agencies and companies with real experience such as Shapeshifter Agency, GrowFluence Agency, Digitalee Agency, Cafeneaua Fetelor, ColorEscu, Zăganu Craft Beer, Kloth Invest, and Roca Investments. Additionally, MarcoBad has trusted our initiative by becoming a financial partner for the project, contributing essentially to implementation and logistics.
Now You Know Where to Start
Genesis is a journey designed to provide students with the tools and confidence needed to transform their ideas into successful businesses. Through three days dedicated to entrepreneurship, marketing, and finance, participants gain a clear and practical perspective on the essential steps to build a successful start-up. The support of partners and the involvement of experienced speakers complete this experience, creating an environment conducive to learning and growth. Genesis is thus a solid starting point for anyone wanting to take their first step into the world of entrepreneurship.
We hope future editions will gain more traction and have a positive impact on students’ views of the business environment. We want this project to grow year after year and become a benchmark for those who have an idea but don’t know where to start. We hope each edition brings clarity, confidence, and courage to those who want to work for their dream and believe they can turn it into reality.
